Founder Lisa Johnson
I built Blue Walney around a gap I kept seeing in small and growing businesses: the books may be maintained, but the financial information is not always useful for running the business. Reports are often accurate enough for compliance, but not structured in a way that helps leaders understand performance, spot issues, or make informed decisions.
With an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and over 20 years of experience leading finance, technology, operations, and transformation programs, I bring a practical, cross-functional perspective to bookkeeping and financial reporting. I am also a certified Project Management Professional, which means I think in terms of systems, processes, controls, and execution, not just transactions.
